We all have mothers in our lives, whether they are our own, borrowed, adopted, by marriage, co-workers, or simply friends. Join us as we celebrate the gift of mothers with performances from local artists, including the talents of:

What are the Second Sunday Community Celebrations?

Recognizing that there is tremendous talent of music and arts in our local area, members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church wanted to find a way to showcase these talents on a regular basis and share them with the rest of the community. Thus, the Second Sunday Community Celebrations, monthly events showcasing local artists and performers, began in November 2012. The first event was a Taizé service, a candlelight ceremony that featured the peaceful composition of violin, flute, piano and serene voices.

Over the next several months, Holy Cross will continue to sponsor these Second Sunday Community Celebrations, or S2C2. If you love music, drama and the arts, or if you would just like to come see featured performers you know or want to know, please join us the second Sunday of each month at 6pm. We're looking forward to seeing you!
